Go Between (video)
D+Cineastes can check out the gritty wartime wheeze Between The Lines at Brixham theatre tonight at 7.30pm.
Premiered yesterday at a swanky invitation-only shindig, the locally produced
D-Day yarn was filmed on location in Kingswear and Churston and features a mix of professional thesps and military history boffins.
Directed by Ashley Wing, the film stars professional actor Clayton Russell (us neither) and tells the tale of disorientated British soldiers in France, surviving without supplies when they are ambushed by a German patrol. How wizard!
Judging by the trailer below it’s certainly ambitious stuff, but we would quibble with the tagline ‘We forgive but we do not forget’ which sounds a bit like a dodgy Sun headline.
Either way, if you go along tonight, why not drop D+CFilm a line and let us know what you thought?
