What’s in the Box?
A wizard new fund has been created to let disadvantaged 13- to 19-year-olds mess about with creative media projects, like film, telly, print, radio or webby online-type stuff.
The nattily-named Mediabox is designed to help youngsters express their opinions, ideas and views, gain new skills, encourage creativity, boost personal development and get their voices heard. Y’know, the usual.
There are three types of grants offered by Mediabox but it’s all a bit confusing to be honest. Your best bet is to get online (hey, you’re half way there already) and check out their website.
