Eat my shorts

Exeter Phoenix’s Two Short Nights fest kicks off tomorrow, boasting a whole bunch of film fun for any self-respecting D+Cineast.

Not only will there be beezer work by filmmaker John Sealey (see In A Tate Spot) but those Future Shorts fellers will be on hand, to present a programme which promises to challenge, inspire and – please god – entertain. Starting at 6pm, tickets are £3.50/£2.50.

An innovative company which aims to redefine the role of short film in international screen culture, Future Shorts has created a huge network, enabling filmmakers to have their work seen on the largest dedicated short film platform in Europe. Pretty neat.

Future Shorts exposes audiences to an original, diverse and high quality slate of films, which is nice of them, isn’t it? Find out more by clicking here.
