The fifth Cornwall Film Festival is about to come knocking at your door and dragging you out to the pictures. In just a short space of time (it started in 2002 for those who don’t want to count backwards), it has established itself as quite the focal point for new talent and super features. But what makes this the real bees knees is that there will be more than 50 films (by my ready reckoning anyway) written, produced or directed by Cornish film makers.

And if all this is making you kick up your heels and lament your lack of contribution, fear not, the organisers have thought of that and created an outleft for budding mobile phone film makers in The Beautiful Phone Edit.
